These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Proper Feedback ("the Service"), operated by the Proper Feedback team ("we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
Proper Feedback provides organizations with a phone number that callers can use to leave anonymous, voice-masked messages. We transcribe, screen, and deliver those messages to your dashboard and connected integrations.
The Service is intended for lawful use by organizations — companies, schools, government bodies, nonprofits, and other groups — to receive genuine feedback from their communities.
You must provide accurate information at signup. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be 18 or older to create an account. If you are creating an account on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not use Proper Feedback to:
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, without notice where immediate action is necessary to protect callers or the integrity of the platform.
All incoming messages are screened for prohibited content — including threats, hate speech, doxxing, and CSAM — before delivery to your dashboard. Messages that trigger screening are held for human review and may be rejected without delivery.
You own the content in your dashboard. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process, store, and deliver that content as necessary to operate the Service. We do not use message content to train AI models.
You are responsible for how you respond to messages and for any actions you take based on them.
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. We accept major credit cards via our payment processor. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice to account holders.
Overages (minutes beyond your plan limit) are billed at the end of each billing cycle. We will notify you when you reach 80% of your included minutes.
We do not issue refunds for partial months except where required by law. If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged.
New accounts include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, the Service continues only if you provide payment information. We will remind you before your trial ends.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. Enterprise customers with SLA commitments are governed by their separate agreements.
You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access until then.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted, unless we are required by law to retain it longer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or reputational harm.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that moderation will catch every prohibited message.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of Alberta.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
